Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn is situated above the beautiful Central Valley of Costa Rica. Surrounded by towering “Higuerón” trees and exotic flora, the Inn offers spectacular views of volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations. Here at 4000 feet above sea level on a temperate plateau of extraordinary beauty, is grown some of the world’s best coffee in the lush volcanic soil. Nestled in 10 acres amid hundreds of fruit trees and dramatic tropical flora is the enchanted Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn, a jewel crowning a picturesque knoll.

The lovely lounge and dining area of the main building is situated in a sunlit clearstory room filled with flowers and art. Here the guest can relax in front of a crackling fire in the evenings or browse through the library famous for its collection of art, nature and history books.

Rooms - (Click here for room descriptions). The Inn offers the extraordinary Master suite, three elegant yet whimsical junior suites, two spacious villas, and three uniquely appointed double rooms, each with its own private veranda.

Dinning - Each sunny morning you will wake to an exquisite breakfast, replete with freshly brewed organic coffee grown in our plantation and succulent mango, papaya, pineapple and bananas from the Inn’s own organic orchards. The Inn is renowned for its fine cuisine, prepared with care and creativity from the bounty of its fruit orchards and organic greenhouse vegetable and herb garden. Chef Pedro Alas welcomes the curious gourmand into his kitchen to share the secrets and techniques of nouvelle Costa Rican Cuisine. The Chef draws on Costa Rican and international culinary arts, using local fresh seafood and organic meats and poultry to create a menu that changes daily. The elegant four-course dinners, offered to our guests exclusively, are set around the inviting, intimate free-form fireplace with inspiring views of the Central Valley below.

Activities - Personalized guided tours can be arranged to many of the area’s national parks, cloud forests, biological rain forest reserves, botanical gardens, butterfly farms, bungie jumping, white water rafting, and bird watching. Our own stables and horses can be rented to experience Costa Rican country life, including riding to the slopes of Barva Volcano. Guests can enjoy many day excursions, including a fascinating tour of Costa Rica’s best coffee producers, hiking into the Braulio Carillo National Park Cloud Forest, and experiencing the splendor of the Poás and Irazú volcanoes.
