Dinning - Each sunny morning you will wake to an exquisite breakfast, replete with freshly brewed organic coffee grown in our plantation and succulent mango, papaya, pineapple and bananas from the Inn’s own organic orchards. The Inn is renowned for its fine cuisine, prepared with care and creativity from the bounty of its fruit orchards and organic greenhouse vegetable and herb garden. Chef Pedro Alas welcomes the curious gourmand into his kitchen to share the secrets and techniques of nouvelle Costa Rican Cuisine. The Chef draws on Costa Rican and international culinary arts, using local fresh seafood and organic meats and poultry to create a menu that changes daily. The elegant four-course dinners, offered to our guests exclusively, are set around the inviting, intimate free-form fireplace with inspiring views of the Central Valley below. |
| Activities - Personalized guided tours can be arranged to many of the area’s national parks, cloud forests, biological rain forest reserves, botanical gardens, butterfly farms, bungie jumping, white water rafting, and bird watching. Our own stables and horses can be rented to experience Costa Rican country life, including riding to the slopes of Barva Volcano. Guests can enjoy many day excursions, including a fascinating tour of Costa Rica’s best coffee producers, hiking into the Braulio Carillo National Park Cloud Forest, and experiencing the splendor of the Poás and Irazú volcanoes. |
